I friggen hate the 13600K, the amount of work to keep this thing from throttling with a TjMAX of 105C and an NHD-15S is rediculous, I'm using a contact plate for crying out loud. If I had the little extra budget that this build has I would just go with AM5: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DC4qCd

I have the 13600k and a NHD-14 with a fractal torrent compact case, i feel like im doing fine but i havent put the cpu to the limit at all yet haha. Ill take your word for it though.

Yes the power supplies are compatible with all the motherboards unless you go with the crazy stuff from Dell or something.
Ya just swap the motherboard oout for a similar Z-series ITX motherboard (so you can get ddr5 support).
Or go with what Arush suggested with an AMD build.

Hey all! Complete beginner building a PC here; need some help discerning if this parts list is alright or not.

Budget: $1400 USD (Preferably closer to high $1300)

Country: US

Uses: Gaming, some Photoshop/Lightroom work

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pCCbmD. Space is a factor, I would like to lean more towards mini-itx

Cheers! and thanks in advance

Ok start but ill repost another build suggestion by @ArushM which is cheaper and better across the board i think.

You could swap in a differ ITX board to be compatible with the ITX case, but his choice of power supply is better. You could upgrade the suggested cpu to the 12600k or stick with the 12400f. If its your first computer you'll probably be just fine with the 12400f, you can always upgrade to something like the 13600k down the line if you want to if you need the boost.

There are matx-cases that are only a bit larger than nr200. Lian Li a3 and Jonsplus z20 for example. You can use an atx-psu that is 140mm long and have normal 120x25mm intake fans under the gpu.
