Can someone rate my pc part picks for my first pc ever?

Budget (including currency): | **Total** | **$1729.34** CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Anything

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm totally new to the pc building world ( owning a HP Laptop ). I watch a bit of pc build content but I'm still new, I'll want to know if I need to upgrade my build in a reasonable budget (1800 $ max). Hoping that I would get good tip from you guys!

There's alot of compromises in your build that are going to have long term drawbacks.

You are buying into a dead end socket with AM4 and you specify Nvidia which is fine but what actual features of nvidia are you talking about?

Also that Monitor is an entry level 1080p monitor where as your GPU is firmly in the 1440p camp.

You are also picking a relatively low end PSU that I wouldn't particularly trust , it's not the worst but it's certainly not in line with a 4070 super build.

If you could stretch to $1900 this would be a much more balanced build with future upgrade potential.

Oh I didn't knew all of that, I'll take your advices in consideration for my build and thank you for the reply!

Honestly, I just pick a Random monitor for the build

For the Nvidia features, I'm talking about DLSS 3.0 and rtx features, I want to see the impact it does on games and how AI affect the GPU. Mostly.

I'm also curious to see how the recording will perform as well

Also the GPU you picked for me won't ship to my adress but I'm pretty happy for the upgrade you did to the build, thanks!
