exclusions

Hello. hope you are having a good day. i need help about windows security, in exclusions page there was some file that was nonremovable but i deleted them from registery editor but they come back all the time so is it a virus? i need help

That path would define processes to exclude, but you're talking about files?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Exclusions\Paths
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Exclusions\Extensions

 

If Defender excludes something by default and doesn't let you remove it, I would assume removing it from the registry isn't going to work. It'll simply restore its defaults after a restart.

What file? Also what's the file location?
