quite modern board, now just for verification, is it the USB 3.0 function not working (AKA running on USB 2.0 speed when plugging in USB 3.0 compliant peripheral) or the port is not working at all?

Omg such a face palm moment I noticed the usb connector wasn’t connected to the bottom pins 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ sorry about that lol

Hello I noticed ever since I built my pc the usb 3.0 on the front io never worked. I decided to try and fix it today and unplug it from the motherboard. It was really hard to get it off as usual. I was pulling and saw the black piece on the motherboard was starting to pull off so I stopped pulling and just shoved back the 3.0 cable. But my questions are how should I get it off, is there something in bios to check and is it a fire hazard if the piece on the board started to pull off but I just pushed it back in

So I was being quite stupid and realize the normal usb ports aren’t working not the 3.0
