Tried searching both online and in phone settings without luck. When taking photos of landscapes, a level appears on screen showing rotation and supposed to help me get a level horizon. If I use that the photos seem to come out slightly off. Not massively so, but just enough to annoy me as a photographer. Maybe a degree or so. If I trust my instinct it is hit and miss but on average I do better. I guess I could just learn to offset the camera error but I'm hoping there is some way to recalibrate the sensor. Any ideas if this setting even exists?

Just a shot in the dark, but I'd assume the camera uses the acceleromter to measure the the gravitational pull on the phone to detect whether your phone is rotated. On the play store you can download an app called "Accelerometer Calibration", so maybe that will help you? Not sure if it actually does anything though.
