Alphacool GPU HF 14 Universal GPU BLOCK

Hi Guys

I am new to watercooling and i am just picking parts at the moment. not sure what block for my gpu to go for? I have a Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280x 3GB OC. There is no full block for this card so i have been looking at universal blocks. i was looking at the xspc raystorm but it is not compatible with 1/2" compression fitting =(
But i saw Alphacool GPU HF 14 ATI/NVidia Smart Motion Universal Nickel Edition http://www.alphacool.com/product_info.php/info/p1296_Alphacool-GPU-HF-14-ATI-NVidia-Smart-Motion-Universal-Nickel-Edition.html and was wondering has anybody had any experience with this block. i have also found HD7970 Cu Adapter & heatskinks 15x15x15mm for the ramchips. this card already has a heatskins on the vrm and a backplate (not sure if the backplate would restrict anything). Is there any thing im missing out, or any other blocks i should look at for this card?

Have you checked coolingconfigurator.com? Check your card as well as a 7970 vapour x, they are the sane

on coolingconfigurator.com it says.. Sorry, we have no plans to make any waterblocks for this position. Thank you. for both the 280x and the 7970 vapor X

Alphacool NexXxos GPX R9 280 M07 Waterblock for Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Vapor-X 3GB GDDR5 OC.

Finaly Got to Wc my Gpu. was going to mod a uni block on it but.. found the Alphacool NexXxos GPX R9 280 M07 waterblock. I paid £70 from Aquatuning.co.uk. Had to wait a week to install it due to not enough Thermal pad sent in box and Aquatuning taking a week to send in post. (Lucky i checked before taking card out and draining loop)

anyway here is my temps before and after. I am amazed haven't gone over 50° yet. but vrm's are running a little hotter. which I expected. but not as worried will have to keep a eye on them.

Just found this custom Alphacool NexXxos GPX. Just Bought it and will fit it this weekend on my Vapor X 280X 3GB.. Will take pics and let you know Temps.
