What does it say when you try and empty the recycle bin?

"Are you sure you want to permanetly delete all of these items" then i click yes and it doesn't do it

Your Recyle Bin maybe corrupted I guess.

Try deleting the recycler folder(s), Windows will recreate it when you reboot. From a

command prompt issue the following command:

rd /s /q c:\recycler

If you have more than one drive you will have to issue the command for

each drive, changing the c: with the appropriate drive letter. If you

have more than one user on the machine all recycle bins will be emptied.

didn't work, it changed it to 1 (i put 0) but it still didn't delete anything. i checked dont move anything to recycling bin, remove immediately when delete which still didn't do anything :/

i had this once, but i forgot what method i used

i think i used method 3 in this but you said it didnt work, make sure you are running it as admin. maybe try 1 and 2

Method 1:

Right click recycle bin > properties
Uncheck "Display delete confirmation dialog"

Method 2: Try to empty recycle bin using the disk cleanup tool.

Disk Cleanup - Click start / Double Click Computer / Right Click on the C: and select Properties / General tab / Click disk cleanup,in Disk cleanup select recycle bin and then click OK

Method 3: Try to empty recycle bin using command prompt

1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
2. Type the following command and press ENTER:

rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin

Alternatively, you can right click your C drive and select properties. From there, click "disk cleanup" and after a minute or two, you can select what you want to get rid of in the dialogue box, and select "ok".

It's a great way to keep that disk clean :]
