Hey LTT,

I am looking at getting an EVGA GTX 780 FTW edition, and I saw on Newegg that I can get a refurbished version for $400, or a new version for $500. Would getting a new card be worth the extra $100 bucks? Or should I save the $100, go with the refurb and put the extra money toward another PC part like a CPU cooler or some HDDs?

Still comes with a warranty, I personally don't think it is more likely to fail than a brand new video card so you'll be fine mate.

Sure go for it, last refurb i had was a HD 4870, all it did was coil whine, was a solid GPU though.
