Computer won't turn off...

So now that I fixed the problem that was causing it to not start, it doesn't want to shut off now. When I go threw windows and hit shut down, it shuts down, stays off for a few seconds, then turns back on. What causes this, and how can I fix it? Windows 8 PRO and ASRock PRO4 motherboard.

Ever since I built the computer. I don't want to re install for that.

 Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Also are you able to shut down when in safe mode?

Interesting.. I have this same issue with about 1 out of every 50 boots. I'm curious to as what causes this as well.

Make sure you have the most up to date BIOS

if you shut down and then flick of the psu, windows doesnt annoy you.

 

Ever since I built the computer. I don't want to re install for that.
