8 Pin GPU

I have a RTX 4060 OC edition everytime I decide to plug the 8 pin into the gpu it turns every fan on my pc to max speed

Do you have more information? Motherboard? Exact GPU? Exact Mobo?

 

Is the 8 pin header the power header?

My motherboard is the asus prime a320m-k my gpu is RTX 4060 Ventus 2x black 8g OC I’m not sure what a power header is but the 8 pin is going straight from the psu to the gpu
