Check your drivers to see if they are updated. also check your game settings. I once messed up my game settings and thought my GPU was performing badly. Also, how are you certain that its your GPU? It could be something else.

Welcome to the forums!
Specs of the rest of the PC?
What kind of performance were you getting? What are you getting now?
Have you made any recent software or hardware changes?
What troubleshooting steps have you taken?
Have you looked at the temps?

Define "runs really poorly"

Run a benchmark test like Superposition and post results.

Are you getting artifacts everywhere?

Well i'm not 100% certain
But when i play it goes to 100% and i have updated my drivers
It runs around 40-50 fps in the old the forest and the same in roblox
I've tried different settings in the forest to no difference

And i use a m.2 ssd with i think around 1500-2000 mbs
I've tried resetting the settings in the nvidia control panel i've put it in a different pcie slot
The temps looks fine around 65 degrees Celsius
and havent changed anything recently
I'm getting 40-50 fps in the forest (Not the new one)
And the same in roblox
And thanks for welcoming me!

What is your cpu usage? You can also try reinstalling your GPU drivers. Another issue might be that you have background processes during your game, so try to disable them. Or you could just install razer cortex, which does the job for you. To help us evaluate the problem, could you show a picture of your in-game overlay (Advanced version in GeForce experience)?

110 fps? well, if it is, tell us the 1 percent fps. That might tell a different story. what is your cpu usage?

It looks like it's sucking back the appropriate amount of power. 200 out of the max rated 250

Can you give us the results of a GPU-heavy benchmark test, like Heaven or Superposition?

That should let us narrow in on the GPU specifically if it isn't performing like an RTX 2080 Ti is supposed to. It could be that your CPU, memory, or something else in the system is to blame.

I got 4400 score with 1600x900

I saw other benchmarks from the same gou which were on like 5100 on same resolution

It should be by your normal fps. Its not though... well, show us the 99 percent fps at least. If the overlay still doesn't work, then try a different game or restarting your pc. games like fortnite and roblox are CPU intensive, so I wouldn't blame it on your GPU. But it might be. Like Young blade said, try giving us a GPU intensive benchmark.

This is probably a frame pacing issue. I'd look into potential fixes since there's often not a universal fix for every configuration.

Hey guys
This is entirely my fault
My 2080 is fine today
Benchmarks went up like 50% over night
the forest still runs like absolute crap but every other game is fine
Thanks for everyone who helped me (or at least tried)
Means a lot! and props to this community for having such awesome people
