R7 5800X3D vs i9 10900KF (x264 Encoding) Streaming Build

Hello All,

 

I'm taking the step to building a dedicated streaming build.

I have both the 5800x3D and the 10900KF lying around, which I'm going to use to build with.

Is anyone able to assist in giving me a suggestion as to which one to use:

 

Which one has better encoding performance?

Which one would be better at processing quality?

 

Any advice about the CPUs will be appreciated massively.

Please note, this machine will solely be a streaming PC.

Since you have both of these chips, why not test if for yourself?

 

But looking at reviews they seem to be about the same performance wise, so is unlikely there would be a quality difference to the users.

I could, but it would take a lot of testing, which I'm not skilled in doing at the moment.

My streaming has been kicking off lately, which has led me to build a dedicated machine to do so. I'm just stuck as to which one to use.
