Looking for new monitor

I'm thinking of getting a new monitor, for my circumstances it can only be MSI strictly. I am between the g274qpx and for a bigger size the MAG 325CQRXF 31.5" but I never had a VA panel before and I'm a bit reluctant, does anyone have what MSI calls a rapid VA panel and does it eliminate the negatives of the VA? also I heard that 16:9 AR isn't great for a curved display (never had one before).  I play in 1440p and I'm kinda worried that 31.5" will look blurry because I don't have a big desk and I sit quite close to the screen.
