Is human benchmark reaction time test accurate?

Go to solution Solved by GuiltySpark_,

Its done in your browser, your internet connection has nothing to do with it.

I loaded the page, disabled my internet connection entirely and ran it just fine.

Its simply measuring how quickly you click which is all done locally.

I've noticed that after changing my internet connection from a 2.4ghz to a 5ghz connection, ive noticed that my scores on human benchmark's reaction time test have gone down from a 275 ms average to 240 average. There's no way ive improved that much in that time. Does human benchmark take into account your ping to the servers? If it doesn't, are there any offline softwares to test my reaction time that don't have connection latency?
