Any way to get my ram to run at its rated speed?

Currently the max speed I can get with all four of my ram sticks is 3800mhz. I'm not able to use expo at all so I'm using the sk hynix 4x16 preset found on my Asus rog strix x670e. Any hidden tricks anyone knows to get it to run at least a little faster?

3800mhz on AM5 seems very slow even for stock speeds?  Do you mean 4800mhz?
AM5/DDR5 does not like 4 sticks at all so its much easier to hit EXPO rated speeds with 2 sticks instead of 4.

Yes I mean 3800. It show 4800 in the bios but when I get to windows it shows 3800. If I run at any higher speeds my games will start to crash. If it comes down to it I'll try running at two sticks but I really do want to keep the four in my system

Try two sticks only and check EXPO just to try it.
Being on the latest BIOS for the motherboard is recommended for best ram compatability

What RAM is it, exactly?

EXPO or XMP, it should  have a profile.  Or you can manually set.

The rsm is CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 64GB (4x16GB) 6000MHz.

They have docp profiles but whenever I set it to the profile my PC won't boot and I have to reset the cmos to turn it back on.

I'm not at home right now so I'll send the pic when I get back but it says 3800 in the task manager. Highest speed I can get without crashes

When you get home, see what just 2x16 does.  You should be able to hit EXPO with just 2 slots filled for starters.

Exactly the same issue I have, and I've tried 2 sticks, in every single slot configuration, with 2x32Gb GSkill Kits (6000mhz)

The profiles are likely to be set for 2 sticks, so for 4 sticks you may need more voltage and tuning. Try using one of the profiles and manually setting the frequency much lower, e.g. 5200.

Officially AMD only guarantee that you can achieve DDR5 3600 with 4 sticks, but even a really poop CPU/board should easily beat that.

3800 is the max I get without crashes, even 4000 will crash memtest86 and siege within minutes. Do you know what voltage id set it to? I'm 99% sure all the ram related voltages are set to 1.4 with the preconfigured profile from my board and unless I know for sure I don't want to set them higher. I'll check model # when I get home

Yeah, that should be what happens, which is why I suggested changing the frequency with the profile still enabled.

Unfortunately I can't tell you what other voltages help with running 4 sticks, because I don't know that much about AM5, but you could try asking an overclocker, or watching some of buildzoid's overclocking videos on YouTube (actually hardware overclocking).

It sounds like maybe there's a compatibility issue.

4 DIMM setups on AM5 are a massive gamble of the CPU IMC, Mobo and RAM, and even then most can't run very fast without manual tuning. And even with manual tuning 4 DIMM setups should only be used when you need more RAM than what is possible with 2 DIMMs, max being 96Gb with 2x48Gb to my knowledge at this time. So probably should swap (if possible) that 4x16 kit for a 2x32 one.

Actually AM5 CPUs are officially only rated for DDR5 3600 when running 4x1R or 4x2R setups. Though most CPUs should be able to run higher.
