NVME VS HDD TORRENT DOWLOADING 100GB OVER 1 GB BROADBAND

Hi

I have a question regarding torrent downloading.

CPU is more used if downloading on NVMe ?

What NVMe can COPY hundreds of GB or even TB without loss in speed in 1 action.

There is a point to buy 24 TB HDD Seagate for mass storage or to buy 2 NVMe by 4 Tb ?

Have a nice day.

NVMe is faster thus it may takes more CPU time to move all those files but it does the job faster.

If you need mass storage and write speed isn't a huge parameter I'd recommend buying TWO HDDs (2x12tb for example) so you can have some sort of redundancy if things go south (look up Raid).

You'll be limited by your bandwidth, is it 1GB/sec or 1Gb/sec ? usually it's the latter, so only 150MB/s for transfer, which is the speed of a good HDD

If it's really 1GB/sec then you need a NVMe, they can go way faster but be limited to that speed
