Looking for any help on liquid cooling my RX 7900xtx red devil, however I was wondering if anyone makes an AIO compatible water block for the RX 7xxx series. I am not well versed in DIY cooling solutions and am not very confident in doing so. I have ample room in my case to add another AIO and am familiar with the installation process so if such a thing exists, it would benefit me greatly.  Any help or suggestions welcome! System specs below ( if needed)

MOBO-Asrock X570 velocita

Processor- Ryzen 9 5900x

GPU-Powercolor red devil RX 7900xtx 24gb.

Mem-Corsair Dominator platinum 64gb (PC 25600)

Case-Cooler Master/ Master case H500M

AIO-Arctic liquid freezer II 360

Thanks in advance!

Any particular reason as to why you want to liquid cool the GPU? Its a lot more difficult than putting an AIO on a CPU 🙂

Not particularly-really more for peace of mind than anything.  I'm one of those people who freaks out if it SLIGHTLY warm, lol! Logically,  I know between 40- 45c is normal, I just don't like it. I don't have any overheating issues to speak of, so I guess more for the esthetic look? 😅

40-45c is idle temps.  How are you with 80c?

You need to work on the YOU part of this, the GPU is fine and dandy and never been happier.

If you want peace of mind, then liquid cooling will NOT do it, because the pump WILL fail after some time, meanwhile a Noctua fan can last 30 years of work non stop, and you can just replace it when it breaks. Especially when the temperature difference in non existent (unless you use a crazy custom loop), because the heat isn't in such a small spot like on the CPU, so it can dissipate and be cooled way faster

Well.. AIO's and Liquid cooling in general is less peace of mind than air cooling.

Pump failure, clogged loop, replacing coolant every 2-3 years etc etc.. What a hassle.

Thats the reason why I use an NH-D15 an not an AIO in my own system, way more reliable.

Anything under 90c is acceptable core temperatures for the 7900 XTX.

Stop worrying, everything is fine 🙂

🤣 ok! It really is more of a "can it be done" vs. any real need. I just thought it would look....unique.  Card runs perfectly fine, even during heavy gaming sessions. Fans rarely kick on, if at all, warmest I have witnessed was 73c (briefly at that) Thanks for the input!

Found 2 blocks at Alphacool

Pretty expensive at 160EUR, and then you need a rad, fans and tubing (assuming you have a pump and res already..),  but if you want a custom loop it'll work well

eh custom loops are done to death and pretty boring nowadays, if you want unique then youll have to put more effort in and not just buying parts off a shelf and being done with it, but if you want aesthetics then thats just personal choice and if you like it and you have the cash sure go for it

as for temps just let the gpu cook

not literally but as long as it isnt hitting tjmax youll be fine, dunno whats the tjamx for rx 7000 but for rx 6000 it was 110c iirc

if you want peace of mind just stick with an aio or aircooling but the latter is preffered as fans omly die every decade or 2 and a hunk of metal is gonna last forever unlike an aio thatd die in 5-7 years cause pump failed and the whole thing has to be discarded or can just be reused and turned into a part of a custom loop with abit of diying though some aio blocks might be completely unusable when the pump dies so might have to discard that depending on the aio

i like low temps but i like them subzero, dont really give a shit about ambient temp as long as higher temp isnt screwing with my ocs too much or if im running higher volt doesnt cause noticable degradation in a short period of time, subzero better cause i can oc farther but tecs are garbage and i have to buy an ac unit and build a cpu block for a basic form of phase change cooling thatll top out at only ~ -20 -30c, if you arent ocing or doing any max oc then you can just ignore temp for the most part (prefer <90c) and focus on noise and power efficiency
