Keyboard backlight partly broken

Hey guys, 

I have a HyperX alloy elite and a few days ago I noticed that some keys are not illuminated anymore. These keys are "e, r, t, z, u, 1, <, F4" (german layout). I opened the keyboard up and checked for any obvious hardware faults, but didnt find anything. I also desoldered one of the LEDs and checked it, its working fine. I tried the "software reset", but this also didnt change the behaviour. Do you know, if there are SMD components on the side of the PCB, that is only visible, if I remove all the keys? I also heard about reflashing the firmware, but couldnt find it online. Any help (or schematic) would be appreciated.
