Hello

I recently finished building a new PC by myself but I have 1 problem, it shuts down by itself (only when idle) and in the event log there's a kernel error 41. It never happens when I'm actively using it, I be playing games without issues or watch videos on youtube, but if I pause a video or exist the game and leave, I can come back to my PC being shut off.

Here's my build

Things I have tried so far:

  • update bios

  • update chipset

  • update windows

  • remove GPU drivers and reinstall

  • tried a different wall plug

  • ran a windows memory diagnostic (no errors)

  • checked temperatures (everything is fine)

  • changed power settings to never turn off etc

  • Power settings on high

  • Check cables to see if they are connected properly

Things I haven't tried yet which I will tomorrow:

  • check components if they are seated properly

Apart from this I don't really know what else I could do to figure out what the issue is, it could be a piece of hardware that's just busted but not sure how I'd figure out how I'll know which one is the culprit.

Any suggestions?
