Upgrade recommendations

Any decent brand that still fits within your budget should do.

Actual prices will depend on your country, but I think WD is pretty affordable these days.

Hello everyone,

Lately, I've noticed that my CPU struggles a lot while playing newly released games, so I think it's time to upgrade to a better one. I'm also aware that my motherboard, RAM, and storage speed are not the best, so I would like to upgrade those as well.

My goal is to run all game outputs at ultra 1080p, and I've budgeted around 500€ for this upgrade.

Current Configuration:

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-10400F (2.9 GHz)
  • Motherboard: MSI H410M-A Pro
  • RAM: DDR4 Textorm - 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2666MHz - CAS 19
  • Graphics Card: MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8G
  • Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB (HDD) and Kingston A400 480GB (SSD)
  • Case: Aerocool Bolt Mini - Black
  • Power Supply: Textorm TX650M+ - 650W

Any suggestions for an effective upgrade within my budget would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you, any suggestion for storage or any NVME SSD will do?
