As I was building my computer (for the first time) I tried plugging in my 24 pin cable to the motherboard and didn’t hear a noticeable click like the others I had done  before. Upon further inspection, I could definitely tell that it was not fully seated. I spent hours searching for answers on the internet and nothing has seemed to help me. I’ve used a scary amount of force and wiggling and still don’t wanna get in. None of the pins look bent.

here is a picture of what it looks like:

Motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Pz2WGX/asus-tuf-gaming-b650-plus-wifi-atx-am5-motherboard-tuf-gaming-b650-plus-wifi

Its just not plugged in. Press harder. Maybe hold a finger or two under the board while pressing down

Have tried multiple times. I will mention that the cable does not come out if I am not releasing the clip.

Because there are so many pins theres a massive amount of friction compared to the other pins, it does just require an awful amount of force to both put it in and take it back out, try wiggling it while pushing it in or pulling it out
