Frame drops

Hi, I just launched Rocket League for the first time on my PC with my controller. The fps fluctuates from 5 to 300+ even though my build should be able to run the game at 300+ avg and the frame drops doesn't change with the graphics settings.My internet connection and there haven't been any updates about the status of the game server. The only recognition of 

Does anyone know the cause for the fps drop and how do I solve it?💀
