Looking for a good internal network information update program

Hey guys was wondering if there is any good live updating news software out there. At work we want a program where workers can get live info on updates in parts of the factory like. "Recent inspections on part #5 showed some inconsistencies, please separate #5 parts for further inspection."  Things of that nature. We can run it on our internal server and would like it to be admin controlled and updated but user viewed. It needs to be live updated not require things like refreshes or a close/open. Another thing we'd like is if you can set up multiple panels. Like a panel for HR, for inspection, manufacturing and so on. We'd prefer these panels to be on the same page (Less clicks the better).


 


But yeah don't know if there is anything like this but if there is I'm sure you guys would know, and if it isn't i'm sure one of you will get on that xD


 


Oh and it doesn't need to be free, but free is nice : P

Was looking at using disqus. We could through up an internal page and toss it on there as a commenting system. Does it allow for admins to be the only ones who post?

You could set up RSS feeds for it. Then, you could use any number or browser plugins or free programs (I use FeedDemon) to monitor the feeds for new items.
