In early January of this year I bought a Kamrui AK2 Plus mini pc. Intel N100, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD and so on. I wanted something to use as a little project PC. The first plan was to run a DNS server for my "home lab".

Having become aware of malware that can target vulnerabilities in the BIOS (more accurately - UEFI) by way of exploiting the splash screen image parser, I went on spree to update the BIOS on all my computers. The trouble is, I cannot for the life of me find any updated UEFI firmware for this little PC.

I really didn't worry about this at the time I was purchasing. I wasn't aware of this potentially becoming an issue. Live and learn.

The only thing I know is that it uses AMI bios and the version thereof. There is no driver info or anything of that sort on Kamrui's site. Am I SOL here or is there a way to get the BIOS updated?
