Hello, as I mentioned in the title, I will soon need a new laptop for school or work, but I am not sure which one to buy.

I prefer either a powerful laptop or a regular one with good connection, so I can access my desktop remotely.

Also, make sure it stays within a reasonable price range.

When you say "reasonable price range", what is your preferred max budget?

 

What kind of tasks do you plan for it? Do you plan any light gaming? Any rendering like CAD or video? Or mostly just web/video and remote connection?

I was thinking about 5000 DKK max which is roughly 750 USD.

I will also properly use a rendering software, and that's where I thought that remotely accessing my desktop would be good, since it would properly be better and faster.
