For gaming a Samsung 970 Plus or similar will be plenty!  Good price for fast enough speeds and storage capacity.

I use a Kingston KC3000 and I dont think I have ever used its maximum speed.

yeah I heard the speeds are limited to the OSs in question, they are not designed for these speeds in mind so yeah what Jay said, you won't notice it, its utterly pointless. I bought a 970 evo plus and have a external 650mbs t7 and in gaming and moving small files they are about the same even though the speed difference is 3000mbs
