Hello all,

I just built a new PC for a friend components are:

Amd 7700x

Zotac Nvidia 4070 Super

ASRock B650i mini itx motherboard

Corsair SF 850L

32gb Gskill Amd Expo ram

Scythe Mugen 5 CPU cooler

1tb m.2 with os installed

Coolermaster nr200p case

I played Fortnite on the PC ultra settings getting around 115-120fps CPU temps sitting around 77-78C and the GPU capping at 66C. I played for about an hour with no issues and decided everything is looking good and then handed the PC off to him.

Now that he has it certain games are crashing to the desktop on him including Warhammer total war 3, Baulders gate, cyberpunk 2077.

He has had no issues with League of Legends. Baulders gate seems to have been fixed by capping the frames to 60fps and he was having issues with helldivers but verifying game drives seems to have fixed it.

I'm getting the PC back tomorrow and was hoping for some help on things to troubleshoot. My plan is to first run through actual benchmarks vs just playing a game.

Mobo bios were updated to latest non beta update. Gpu has the latest diver installed. Amd Expo is enabled.
