My guess is that the black or brown is for shielding. Best thing to do would be tear apart the cable and trace the cables. 

Do you have a multimeter? it should have a continuity mode which will allow you to trace wire to pin

unfortunately i do not have a multimeter but i can tear apart the cable.

Looks like the black wire is the one used for shielding since its the only one exposed inside the wire
