Ethernet/router speed issues

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

First thoughts would be either a configuration issue or firmware issue. Have you ensures the firmware is up to date on the orbi setup? If so, then do a full factory reset on the device.

Hello everyone and hopefully someone here might be able to help. I have tried everything between settings on router computer and can not seem to figure this issue out. I currently have the Orbi 850 router. I have 500MBPS from ISP. If I connect directly to the computer from ISP I have the full download and up load speeds. If I connect ISP-Orbi-computer via Ethernet I only max out at 50MBPS download and non existent upload speeds. Now if I connect my ISP-Orbi-Old Nighthawk router-computer via ethernet I receive full upload speeds. I also have a 8 port switch that when connected in same fashion mirrors same results. If I do not connect through the old router I have I do not get any speeds. The only way to receive full download and upload just messing around is if I set the Orbi to AP instead of router mode but then do not have WIFI. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
