I've been told games like CS2 and Spiderman are cpu intensive. Only change I might make honestly is if I need AM5 because of temp problems with intel.

I also made a majority of these choices due to color and RGB. This is my first RGB build and I want all in.

Didn't see that case had RGB fans that's nice looking

It's the cables that they want to be white, and a white 1000w psu is about $15 more than a black one, which is the cheaper than some psu extensions

They are generally more expensive by a meaningful amount while adding nothing in terms of performance. Yes, they look cool, but at the end of the day, a computer is a machine that is designed to perform tasks. Having it look nice is obviously a plus, but you can sometimes go up an entire tier for the price of the RGB flair.

The cheapest 4090 with RGB right now is $2050. The cheapest white one with RGB is $2200. You're paying $250-400 just for looks. Which, if that's what you really want, then you do you, but it's not going to make Spiderman Remastered run any faster and, typically, you're looking at the monitor when gaming, not the graphics card.

It's going to actually be going in our theater room and it will be visible. We have an 87 inch tv and I want to put the pc right next to it on the tv stand with the glass panel facing out. I was originally going for the rgb 7900xtx which I think could still work if I changed the build listed by filpo above with the 4090 rtx and just put in a water cooler and then the 7900xtx rgb

Care more about pure performance not so much dlss or rtx. Used to have a 3060 ti and rtx was NOT worth it at all. Fsr is good enough for me.

That sounds like a bad idea.

From the perspective of a viewer, having the RGB going would be a distraction, not a benefit. When I game in the dark, I always disable the RGB on my system, and it's not even facing me directly - it's off to the side just in my peripheral vision.

Imagine watching a movie and there's a person in the row ahead of you on their phone. You can always see the glow and changing screen in your peripheral vision as you're watching the movie. It's gonna be like that.
