Hello guys

I am new here despite folloing ltt for a very long time

I mainly came to the forum looking for help from this amazing community

I am currently planning on building a diy NAS/Plex server, but first i want to upgrade my LAN to 2.5Gbe

I am looking for a managed switch with 4 or 5 2.5gb ports

The reason beeing that down the road i am planning to install some cameras and smart devices So i want to be able to create some VLANs

The problem is product availability here in "Saudi Arabia" is not so good

Also keep in mind that 1USD=3.77SAR

And i dont want to go broke for my network shenanigans 🙃

I found amazing products on ali express but to be honest i am afraid of anything that is not well known

Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

It is available but it's actually pretty funny

If you check the prices on amazon.sa

I guarantee you it will put a very big smile on your face 😀, Some prices are trippled (not even the lates lineup)

They must think everyone living here is some kind of a billionaire!!

I am just a peasant expatriate here for work who's trying to have some network fun 😁

Amazon is hit and miss for ubiquiti in the states also. I usually buy direct from their website. I'd check there first.
