Samsung dex

I have an s22 as well as a 1080p 60hz ips thinkvision display that comes with a usb-c to hdmi dock.

 

I used samsung dex back in October because my laptop had died and I needed an alternative, however yesterday I found myself in a similar situation but samsung dex won't start, let alone the phone won't even share its screen... all it does is turn the indicator light on the dock from orange to white, but I could plug anything in and it'll do that
