freezing mouse pointer

 So i just updated to windows 11 from windows 10 now my mouse on my main display just randomly freezes moving but not on my 2nd display anybody have any idea why that would be happening?

Have you tried disconnecting the faulty monitor and trying again? Also make sure your monitor settings are correct in windows settings, e.g. they are aligned as they should be.

i restarted computer and monitor setting are all the same. it's like some other program is taking over because it changes the pointer from a bright white to grayish white while on main display when it's frozen.

Have you checked task manager if there's anything related running in the background?

nothing that hasn't been running before i updated to win 11

Try swapping the displays in windows, as in swapping the main display. If the left is display 1, make it display 2 and vice versa. See if your issue still arises.

so... it's a problem with HDR when i have it turned on it does it but when i have it turned off it doesn't.

apparently it's just when auto hdr is on i'm going to see how it goes in game if it freezes while i'm gaming i'll have t o go back to win 10 lol
