Budget (including currency):  550

Country: us

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: rlly just esports games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hello, this is my first PC build, and I apologize for the screenshots of my cart. I opted not to use a recording system as I didn't feel like opening one. My budget is $550, and I aimed to match the cost of a new Xbox/PS5 along with a controller or a new game bundle. While I'm open to suggestions, here's the finalized build I've come up with. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable case with a trusted brand, free shipping, and two or more fans for better airflow, so I'll be using a test bench for now. To enhance cooling, I have a fan mode on my heater, and I keep my room relatively cool, which I believe should suffice. Additionally, I'm looking for a fast WiFi card priced around $30 to $40, as my motherboard does not come with built-in WiFi. ty

Note from me:
CPU: Since you're choosing 5600G, and this is an extremely budget, normally it comes with stock cooler (AMD Wraith Stealth), which means you can ditch Darkrock DK4. If you plan to upgrade your CPU in the future, I would suggest something such as Thermalright or DeepCool, otherwise, just stick to stock cooler.

You can also go for Ryzen 5600 (without integrated graphic), but you have to be sure to have GPU

RAM: Too overpriced for DDR4, USD60 is ridiculous. Better find something such as Silicon power, TeamGROUP T-Create, or even Corsair that cost a bit less than USD40

Sure, just remember to keep room clean for minimal dust. For your reference some great budget PC case brands are DeepCool, LIAN LI, Phanteks, and Montech.

Storage:
Why settle at 512GB?

It's 2024, even 1TB is barely enough. at least please pick 1TB version and you don't have to go for "PS5 rated speed", even current AAA games doesn't fully take advantage of "7300MB/s" data read
Some great budget and good Storage are Kingston NV1 and Crucial P3, and mostly at USD50-60, which means you got more storage value compared to USD50 512GB Netac Storage

Wireless module:
Could you explain the need of dedicated PCIe WiFi module?

Perhaps the ethernet cable is out of reach from your router?
If ethernet is absolutely out of option, then sure go for dedicated WiFi module.

Otherwise, you can find cheap WiFi dongle such as TP-LINK TL-WN725N for less than USD10 or similar product that is available in your area

Motherboard:
My hot take, if you definitely will never ever upgrade your CPU, then settle at A520 chipset motherboard will be fine. Otherwise, grab B550 ASRock (either lightning pro or H/M.2) for PBO access and better VRM cooling

PSU:
You missed the PSU, maybe not included in the screenshot or completely missed

Corsair RM750e is a good budget PSU with cost USD85, RM line up is very well known and accepted for custom PC enthusiast, and with current sale to USD85, that is an absolute steal. (definitely not sponsored ocmment)

GPU:

Most would recommend buy from used market, since you're going for 1080p eSport, going for GTX 1650 should be suffice. But if you want "modern"-ish feature such as upscaling, RTX 3060 or RX 6600 would be fine

Total cost from PCpartpicker is USD666 (I included all parts, even the PC case), but you can go lower if some parts is sourced from used market as I have mentioned before and took out the PC case

That is an interesting parts list

atleast you have one of your priorities straight cutting cost on a part that doesnt contribute to performance (psu) but then you blow 30$ on a metal frame where you can get <10$ or free cases from someone throwing em out or even just run the thing ontop a cardboard box so you might aswell have just spent more on a better used 850w rm(x) or equivalent thatll allow you to continue using it even if youve upgraded the rest of your system

Atrocious price for a 512gb drive, just get a 1tb gen3, you wont see any difference anyways for just gaming

Can get a board with integrated wifi, should just buy a used midranger b3/450 for ~50$ like the gaming plus/tomahawk that would be far superior to that crappy lowend a520 board, if you dont find one with integrated wifi just buy a pcie wifi adapter for <10$

Cooler wise just get a frost tower 120 which is just a renamed peerless assassin, its a 6 heatpipe dual tower at 30$ and will crush that 4 heatpipe single tower so it can also be reused incase you get a more power hungry cpu

1070ti for 120$ is pretty meh, prefer a used 5700xt or 6600xt as those outperform the gtx 1080

Also get a used 5600(x) for 80-100$ instead of a new 5600g

Ebay doesnt have the best used deals most of the time so also look on classifieds sites like fb marketplace
