A lot of stuff won't install on Windows Server, I couldn't even get AMD chipset drivers to install on a 7950x build that runs 2019.

 

I'd say in general to not game on Server.

What is your reason for using Windows Server? 

If it is for less bloat, remember LTSC exists.

If it's for basic server purposes, Storage Spaces is always a decent option.

I just want a way that I can run vms and have the main gamming desktop and other server vm. But I dont k ow of a way to run from windows pro and have windows server vms at the same time.

 

I am considering running just regular window 11 vms and then set settings to act more like a server. 

 

I want to set up a web and game server on one vm and the other will run dbs and backend stuff.
