Corsair 5000D Fan Controller

Hello All,

I have a question about the Fan Controller in the Corsair 5000D Airflow case.

Im going to put 7x Phanteks T30 120mm fans in this case (3x Front, 3x Top, 1x Rear) .

now the Fan controller holds up to 6 4pin headers , so i wont have enough if i want to put them in individually.

 I can daisy chain the T30 fans but now my question is how many can i daisy chain and put on a single 4pin in the controller without killing it.

i was thinking about doing this :

3x T30 Front (Daisy Chain) --> Controller
3x T30 Top (Daisy Chain) --> Controller
1x T30 Rear --> Controller

Or should i just ignore the controller and connect it as above but then on 3 fanheaders on the motherboard ?

i hope this makes sense.

Thanks in advance

I'd say daisy chain 3 sets of 2 fans together just to be safe and then you can plug them all into the controller
