Hi, for Christmas we shutdown the business for 3-4 weeks and during that time we turn everything off as the studio is unattended. When we come back we always seem to get a lot of RAM issues. The solution is simple, just reseating the memory sticks fixes it always. But I want to know if there is a way to prevent the issue from happening in the first place and what the actual cause is? Is it dust that causes improper contact? Is it the metal expanding and contracting in the sticks?

Any information is welcome, thanks !
