8bitdo ultimate c switch edition issues

hello everyone!
today i got an 8bitdo ultimate c switch controller
however i'm not happy with it since for some reason, both of the sticks, when pushed fully to the top, for some reason jump to the bottom
(attached is a demonstation video on gamepad tester)
is there a way i can fix this? or am i just sending this back?
