Hi!
Today I’ve been trying to fix this old record player, and I was able to get it spinning, but I’m having trouble connecting it to a speaker. It didn’t have a needle, so I put in a cut in half sewing needle, so maybe it’s the wrong size and not working? Anyone know how to connect the speaker? I’m struggling to find where the ground goes.

How many pins are there on the back of the cartridge, two, three, or four?

Do you have a phono preamp to use with it, or a receiver with a phono input? Those things don't put out line level, and there's an equalization curve that has to be applied to correct the sound.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
