Teleporting cursor on Multimonitor setup

Foxgott16

Hey fellow Techlovers,
i have a problem with my cursor teleporting from my main monitor to my second as soon as i come close to the edge of my monitor. Is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening? Any Software you would recommend?

I'm on Windows 11 Pro with 3 Monitors. Eizo FS2434 1080p (left) - Omen 32q 4k (middle) - Eizo FS2434 1080p (right) in this configuration

That is because your monitors are different resolutions.

While you extend the display across three monitors, cursor can't go to where no pixels exist.

Your option is to move align your monitors to the top...but you'll have this problem on the bottom.

Or scale your Monitor 2 (4K one) to match Monitor 1 and 3....but you might / will end up with black bars or won't run at native 4K resolution.

I've had similar setups in the past, but with Windows 10, there was a "barrier" that prevented me from moving the cursor in that direction. Now, the cursor just pops up at the bottom every time.

Whenever I scale down my main monitor or scale up my other monitors, it results in erratic resolution switching every time I start a game in fullscreen at 4K. This also causes parts of my display on the other monitors to be cut off.

Your monitors are not physically arranged with how you have them arranged in the settings there. Just drag them so they match.

Outside of that you can try littleBIG mouse to fix the DPI mismatch.

As you have it, it seems to be working as intended.

Appeared as you had one physically above the other two. Regardless you can try littleBIGmouse. What you’re seeing is normal for varying resolutions.

Just got it running, this is so much better. How is this not the standard?

I've been using multiple monitors of varying sizes and resolutions for 15+ years so trying that now would really throw me off. I've just grown accustomed to how the mouse operates when moving between displays.
