Cpu and bios

My bios version is 4002 and im getting a new cpu i did some research and the ryzen 5 5600 says “validated since 3211“ is what my motherboard website says, do i still need to update my bios for my cpu to be compatible or no ?

No, you do not need a BIOS update.

4002 comes after 3211.  I checked for the PRIME B450M-A II that you are using

Thank you, i was going to gwt the 5600g but someone told me for a couple more dollars the 5600 is better !

I will agree with that   The 5600 can be quite a bit faster in certain games if paired with a fast GPU.
