Upgrade .

I am currently running an i5 13400f with an rx7900xt , 4 k gaming is pretty decent . Some titles I’m seeing my cpu usage getting to to the 50 percent. I’m kinda thinking of upgrading my cpu to maybe a 13700k . Would my 240 aio be enough to cool it?

A 13400F is not a bad cpu , A 7900XT is a good card even at 4k but you will still be GPU bound in basically all titles because its 4k.

Really? Ok I always thought uping the res brought down cpu usage but thanks man

It does bring down cpu usage because your gpu renders less frames.

 

Going up in resolution has negligible impact on cpu performance but its much harder to run on the gpu.
