Budget (including currency): 500 USD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It will be for gaming (Valorant, Hades, CODMW2, Dota 2, and bg3) and for excel

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I already have a build that I built last year but I did get a job that will require me to move or travel every 3 months. I did saw a thread that is almost similar to this but my case is different I will be just traveling with my car. This is the build that I have https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kvrVCd so I am thinking of putting the parts to a smaller case or make it an ITX build so that I be also save space and easier to bring with me. I am for sure that I can't use all of the parts like the MOBO and the PSU if you can help me with the parts especially which parts that I can reuse that would be helpful. I do also have a portable monitor and a 1440p 240hz monitor. Thx for the help.

The sama IM01 is a great case and it’s an Matx one that can fit your atx psu, and I’m quite sure it can fit your aero 4070 https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pfvdnQ/sama-im01-microatx-mini-tower-case-im01

I’d get that case with this mobo (there’s only one matx z790 and it wasn’t great) https://pcpartpicker.com/product/mB2WGX/msi-mpg-z790i-edge-wifi-mini-itx-lga1700-motherboard-mpg-z790i-edge-wifi

you can get a b760 matx tho (but on the description of the sama im01 you’ll get more space in the case https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ysvD4D/msi-mag-b760m-mortar-wifi-ii-micro-atx-lga1700-motherboard-mag-b760m-mortar-wifi-ii

Thx! Will I be able to use the cooler with this case? I saw a lot of people use low profile or aio for ITX builds.

This case supports up to 335mm length gpus and the aero 4070 is only 300 so yes, it’ll be fine. You can use an aio but it’ll have to be a thinner one and you’ll have to get an itx board. The thermalright pa120 should fit, if the cooler doesn’t then you can get a lower one after the fact

I have a Noctua NH-U12 in that case, which is a tight fit, but it works. You just have to remove the side bracket that is meant for extra fans/rad/storage.

And please get an itx motherboard in this case. The IM1 supports mATX, but it might prevent you from installing fans in the bottom or plugging some stuff into the bottom of your board. For me, it was the audio connector that wouldn't fit with fans in the bottom.

I do recommend the Sama/Intertek IM1 though. It is quite cheap, easy to build in and sturdy on the outside.

Yes I am planning to switch to an ITX motherboard. I will look at that case and see if I will like it. Thx!
