Changing coolers with the same socket

Do coolers for the same socket also share the same mount? I'm going to RMA my Lian Li GALAHAD and bought a temporary air cooler Scythe Fuma 3 so I can still use my PC during the mean time, can I use the same mount? Can I change the coolers without having to uninstall something from MOBO? Both compatible with LGA1700

Whether or not you can use the same mount comes down to the cooler itself. There is no consistent 'yes' or 'no' answer. In this case, they do not use the same mounting mechanism.

It is incredibly unlikely that you would not have to unmount anything, but you should get everything you need with the other cooler.
