Sure that's fine, but just for clarification, we are clear that you have to touch something conductive (bare metal), and if you are using your "foot" you shouldn't be wearing socks or shoes.  Touching the "painted" surface of a PSU isn't going to help much.

And that the PSU needs to be plugged in, to a grounded outlet. I did forget to add that key piece of information. Not powered on, just plugged in.
