Hello, that's my current PC:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800x
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX2070 SUPER VENTUS OC 8GB
RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator RGB DDR4 2x8GB CL16
MOBO: Asus X570-P

PSU: SilentiumPC Supremo FM2 750W 80 Plus Gold

Tbh i was really thinking about switching to AM5 socket, but i've decided that'll stay on AM4 for now.

I wanted to switch CPU, RAM's to 32gb and GPU. I was thinking about:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT 16GB

RAM: 32GB, i was thinking about CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB but i'm not sure yet.

I'm not exactly sure if my PSU will handle those parts. Should i replace PSU too? What do you guys think about that Upgrade? Any ideas? Thanks for answer!

I'm currently living in Poland, and my budget is something around 1200-1500 euro, but i'm flexible in this matter.

You could also look at the Ryzen 7 5700X and take the savings and put it somewhere else.

Yes, i was thinking about that CPU, but i've decided to stick with 5800X3D because i'm playing some games that are CPU dependent. (Tarkov, Paradox strategy games etc.) I've saw multiple opinions that X3D series is an incredible FPS boost especially at Escape from Tarkov.

this is about $1000 so I'm assuming that's the budget?

it won't

try this (I went for a 7800 XT cuz it's 20% cheaper and only 10% worse)

Update the motherboards BIOS and slap a 5700x or 5800X3D . This is entirely up to you how much you want to spend 🙂.

I would buy a new PSU.. The SilentiumPC Supremo FM2 is dangerously bad and should be avoided.

The Corsair RM750e or RM850e are good replacements.

What is the price of a 6950 XT where you live?  I would look into the 7800 XT. Its cheaper and only a little bit slower.

Hi, SilentumPc is really that bad? I saw countless good opinions about that PSU. The fact is, i bought that PSU almost 3 years ago 😄 Soo maybe that's a good idea to replace it?

The 6950XT is around 600-650 euro where i live.

AMD just announced that they are releasing a 5700X3D for $249 at the end of the month, so that's something to keep in mind. I'd also go for a 7800XT over the 6950XT or if the budget allows and you're wanting to go all out, from what I see at least in the states the 7900XTX is only $100 to $200 more than the 6950XT(new price). Also in either case I'd recommend a new power supply, from what I can see on the PSU tier list that make and model is absolutely one to avoid.

Unless you were looking at going used parts for this rebuild? You didn't list a budget for parts or the country you are purchasing in. Which would also help narrow down recommends.

Yeah.. Its actually quite awful.  I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole..
If you plan on upgrading to quite decent and more expensive hardware, get a reliable PSU that won't risk blowing it all up in smoke.

Its on the Avoid: Tier list for PSUs.. As you can probably tell, this ain't good 😛

Yeah i see that the difference in performance is minimum. But the price is almost identical where i live... What do you think about nvidia cards? I've heard that they're going to release a new 4000 series. Maybe that'll be a better option instead of Radeon?

It's really strange 😄 When i bought my current pc almost 3 years ago this brand had better opinions 😄 Guess it changed over the years... And i had no problems with it for 3 years.

Again, you didn't list a budget or where you live, so it's hard for us to recommend things and we can't check pricing when we don't know where you are located. Again, this is me asking for your budget and country, lol. Pricing is different depending on location.

As for GPU opinions. I personally won't go AMD, while I think their pricing and performance is amazing, the issues they have with software and drivers really turn me off. I won't do anything other than Nvidia in my personal builds but have done plenty of Radeon cards in clients that want them regardless of driver issues. It's really up to you, if you are ok dealing with drivers and related issues to get a better deal, or if you'd pay more to get a more stable card that will have less issues. And I would like to point out some Radeon GPUs can have zero issues, and driver rollbacks are easy to do if one comes out that jacks something up. Really it comes down to availability, budget, and personal preference.

Okay, sorry for not posting budget immediately. I'm currently living in Poland, and i was thinking about 1200-1500 euro budget but i'm flexible in this matter. I wanted to Squeze some more performance without changing the AM4 socket, and upgrading Rams to 32gigs. I had also a different idea. What do you think about staying at current GPU (2070s), and change CPU to AM5 socket? Something like R7 7800X3D or maybe even R9 7950X3D? Is this GPU is going to be a big bottleneck for this CPUs?

I think sticking with AM4 and upgrading your CPU, Ram, and GPU will be much more worthwhile than an AM5 platform upgrade only. the 5800X3D is pretty much the best gaming processor you can get on the AM4 platform and if it's going to be the same price as the 5700X3D when that comes out in Poland even better. 32GB of 3200mhz to 3600mhz memory, preferably something from a name brand manufacturer. And a GPU of your choosing, honestly just going for the best GPU you can get for the money you have left after CPU and Ram. It's hard for me to check pricing and availability for you on that one, but if it was me personally that's what I would do.

I agree, I have an RX 6600 and it is great as a GPU, but the drivers are … odd. Keep in mind I am not Saying they are bad, they are actually quite good, they just either don’t have features you want or have unnecessary features. I do love the price to performance though. AMD is great when it come to price to performance with both CPUs and GPUs. I think you can get a 6700xt for  ~350 usd (I might be wrong though please correct if I am), I don’t know what that is in euros though. Should leave you with a fair bit for a good CPU, just don’t know about the ram.

Yeah... Unfortunately Poland always had high prices for PC parts... (at least when you comparing prices to salary) 6700xt is currently almost non-available here, and the price for it was something around 420-450$. Imho i don't want to buy used parts. I think i'll stick to nvidia... Preferably i'll just wait for new RTX 4000 series. Last question. Which RAM manufacturer do you recommend for AM4 currently? There's alot of stuff on the market tbh, and i'm really don't know what to choose.

I have team group so they are really the only ones I can recommend, I also do have g.skill I have heard that they make really good OC ram but have not heard others opinions on them, all I know is that you can find relatively cheap good ram from them.
