you can lose the cooler, as the boxed cooler is fine for basic use, but i added one as there was some money left in the budget

Well with sim-racing, sky is the limit basically. Especially when you add VR. BeamNG though, not really a racing-sim. It's more like physics sim with cars. But IF you are about to join ACC or F1 or iRacing or AMS 2 at some point- those really REALLY love X3D cpus. Especially ACC.

the only objection. We can get full 2TB here, the 7600 doesnt need a lot of cooling beyond stock and the 4000D is a hosejob.
