CPU Cooling standoffs aren't fitting on motherboard

Hi there! I'm building my first pc and i've run into an issue while installing my cpu cooler. I'm working with a B550 Tomahawk Max motherboard and I'm trying to install a Peerless Assassin 120 SE cpu cooler for my AMD cpu. However, the standoffs that came with the Assassin 120 are not fitting onto the motherboard at all. One of the standoffs slipped on no problem, but the other three won't fit on the motherboard at all. 

 

What should I do in this situation? Any recommendations? Thank you.

It comes with mounts for both AMD and Intel, are you using them or seeing them in the packaging?

Yes! I'm using the red AMD mounts that came with the packaging.

Are you perhaps fully screwing that first one in all the way and it misaligns the others?

 

Try doing each in a cycle, just a bit at a time.  It should fit normally.

After some more messing around with each at it and a little bit of extra force, I was able to get all four standoffs onto the motherboard no problem. Thank you for the help!
