I call this Frankstein’s Monster (for test boot only.)

PhoenixNoKiseki

Starting my first ever build today, it’s been super stressful. The Wraith cooler and backplate wouldn’t co-operate, then the system refused to power on at all.

Eventually I figured it out. I think I didn’t have the 24 pin fully seated.

Glad it worked, but I’m a bit discouraged from trying to build a full gaming PC. I have some thinking to do.

Thanks. Yeah, I’m had some absolute clangers with this build, but got into the BIOS and the CPU is running at 34 degrees C. Which I’m very happy about because the Heatsink was a nightmare to install.

Now comes the fun part, fan install and cable management.

The most hateful part was the front panel connectors. I finally taped them together so I could put them in at once. I don’t care if that was a dumb idea, it worked.
