Budget (including currency): around €1500

Country: the Netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: minecraft, horizon zero dawn (and forbidden west when it comes out on steam), ark survival evolved/ascended, Pavlov vr, beat saber, and a bit of fortnite

I currently have 4 options, 3 of which are pre build and 1 built by a local store. I need help deciding which one I should get, here are the specs:

1. The one that is built by someone else

Motherboard: Asus 1700 prime b760-plus-d4

Processor: Intel core i7 12700

Ram: 2x 16GB ddr4 3200mhz Kingston fury beast

SSD: m.2 samsung 980 pro 500GB

GPU: Nvidia rtx 4060

Price: €1469,00

2. The first pre build (and the one I'm leaning towards)

Lenovo Legion T5 26ARA8 90UY006KMH

Motherboard: not specified

Processor: amd ryzen 7 7700

Ram: 1x 16GB ddr5 5600mhz (brand not specified)

Ssd: m.2 1TB (brand not specified)

Gpu: Nvidia rtx 4060 ti

Price: originally €1800 but lowered to €1400

3.

HP Victus TG02-1969nd

Motherboard: not specified

Processor: Intel i7 13700F

Ram: 1x 16GB ddr4 3200mhz

Ssd: m.2 1TB

GPU: Nvidia rtx 4060

Price: €1400

4.

Acer Predator Orion 3000 650 I7244G

Motherboard: not specified

Processor: Intel i7 13700F

Ram: 2x 8GB ddr? 4800mhz

Ssd: m.2 512GB

Gpu: nvidia rtx 4060 ti

Price: originally €1800, lowered to €1599

I'm leaning more towards the second one because of the faster ddr5 Ram and because of the 4060 ti.

Please give me your opinion and let me know if any further information is needed! Thanks in advance.

All of these configurations are simply put horrible,

all of the system integrators are going with the 4060/ti which have no VRAM (8gb in 2024 seriously?) and are way too overpriced

for the performance they deliver the CPUs in all of them are terrible value and 512gb drives??? Also single channel RAM? I would tell you to build it yourself put the rough layout im going to give you into pc part picker and look at your local prices.

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3D

CPU Cooler: Thermalright Frost Tower 120 if not available Peerless assasin

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Gaming X

RAM: Patriot Viper VENOM 32GB, DDR5-6000, CL36-36-36-76

GPU: rx 6950 if in stock if not 7800xt or rtx 4070 if you want to go nvidia (The 4070 super is also dropping soon we will se what kind of performance it brings)

Drive: Lexar nm620/nm710 2tb if available

PSU: Thermaltake ToughPower GF3 750W

Case: Phanteks Eclipse G360A

Brings me to roughly 1524€ in my country Germany

I tried to make two possible configurations (Intel and AMD):

Config 1:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pkGTjH

CPU: Intel Core i5-13600KF 3.5 GHz 14-Core Processor  ($285.98 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black 55 CFM CPU Cooler  ($89.95 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard  ($206.00 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory  ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($98.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card  ($549.99 @ Newegg)
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.90 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS PLUS 850 Gold 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1550.79
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

It's a bit more than 1500€ but you would have an Upgrade to an 4070 and you would have a DDR5-Platform.

Config 2:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jjjVL9

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($248.98 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black 60.09 CFM CPU Cooler  ($129.94 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard  ($179.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory  ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($98.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card  ($549.99 @ Newegg)
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX ATX Mid Tower Case  ($89.90 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS PLUS 850 Gold 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($114.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1527.77
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The second configuration is an All-AMD Setup. In both Systems, you can save a few bucks if you change the CPU-Cooler or the Power Supply to an 750W PSU. A be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 Cooler would bring the price of the System to 1482€.

Problem is, I've never built a pc myself, and I'm kinda scared I might break one of the components while trying to build it. It seems fun but I have no idea how, screwing in the components seems easy enough, but I have no idea how to do the rest of the setup.

Yeah no
the P3 is not worth the price
Seasonic i dont really like only had problems with them but sure (115$ is also overpriced as hell)
The cooler What the hell is the only thing ill comment on that. (worse performance then the peerless)

both gpus are alright
the case is overpriced
the cpu (7600x) is absolutely overpriced it is only 1-5% better than a 7600 (7500f=7600 without igpu) which just makes no sense to spend money on

and the ram can be any mystery die only Kingston uses Hynix at cl36 so this will probably be samsung

All in all not the worst configuration i have seen but far from the best
